When we’re talking about exploring Mumbai, there’s no way we can miss out local trains. Known for being the lifeline of Mumbai, these trains connect Mumbai to various other places within and outside the city. If you want to truly experience Mumbai, take a ride in a local train.
Buses
Mumbai has a broad network of buses of MSRTC buses run by the Maharashtra Government. This is the commonly used transportation means for people in Mumbai. If you want to explore Mumbai, you surely need to take a ride on MSRTC buses.
Metro
Mumbai has an extensive network of metro trains. This is one of the best ways to reach to various parts of the city as quickly as possible.
Auto-rickshaws
Auto-rickshaws are common means of transport for regular Mumbaikars. From daily to exploring the beauty of Mumbai, auto ride in Mumbai is used by almost everyone in Mumbai.
Bike rentals
One of the best options I found for exploring Mumbai was motorbike rentals. Because I didn’t have a motorbike of my own, I moved around the city on rented bikes. This is the best way to move around Mumbai on a moderate budget.
